Dr. Shuai Liu is a tenure-tracked Assistant Professor at the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Zhejiang University. He was awarded MIT Technology Review Innovators Under 35 (TR35) Asia Pacific in 2022. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. degree from College of Chemistry, Nankai University, and worked as a Postdoctoral scholar in UT Southwestern Medical Center. Focused on gene therapy, his research aims to develop novel lipid nanoparticles and macromolecules for mRNA delivery, for the purpose of treating cancer and genetic diseases. Dr. Liu has published peer-reviewed papers in Nature Materials, Nature Communications, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, etc.
